Sending a 3,700 kg cargo to the International Space Station

According to Yassad News, citing Space, this was the 19th resupply mission to the International Space Station, which was carried out by Northrop Grumman. During this operation, at 00:31 AM GMT, an Antares rocket with a cargo including scientific experiments went into space from NASA’s Wallop Space Launch Headquarters. This was the last mission of this particular model of the Antares rocket, and it will be replaced by a new version next year. About 8 minutes after launch, the Cygnus capsule separated from the second booster of the Antares rocket. This capsule was carrying 3,700 kg of cargo for the crew of the International Space Station. The said capsule is supposed to arrive at its destination on Friday at 5:54 AM US time.

NASA has released a list of important research that went into space on the mission, including the sixth and final flammability test from the Glenn Research Center. Saddire-VI is part of a series of experiments aimed at understanding fire behavior in space.
