According to the report of Yassad News, quoted by Arab News, in this program called Elevate, more than 25 thousand women from all over the world receive training in the advanced technical field within 5 years.
The initial phase of the said program started in May 2023 and students have received 4 levels of distance education. These include learning, recorded lessons, self-study modules, coordinated and group learning, seminars, virtual classes and practical projects.
7 men and 4 teachers from Saudi Arabia supervise the training and 340 hours of training in 2 tracks; They provide one for technical experts and another for non-experts.
The program also offers free training modules in various areas including cloud engineering, data engineering, machine learning engineering and cloud computing operations
In the first stage, 300 female technical experts and 700 non-specialist women from Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Oman, Egypt, Mauritania, America, Nigeria, Tanzania, Syria, Turkey, Algeria, Kenya, India, Jordan, Brazil, Gambia, Vietnam, Tunisia, Moldova, Uzbekistan and Liberia participate in the classes. The program of Saudi Arabia and Google is to teach the skills needed to obtain jobs in emerging markets.
